Yiorgos Depollas

In 1980, Depollas shot a series of portraits of young children in the village of Dotsiko in Grevena. All of them posed in front of the same door. Twenty years later, the children, adults now, agreed to pose again, but unfortunately, the old door did not exist any more. The pairs of photographs appear to be a short treatise on human nature and its evolution, as well as the development of their stance before the camera lens.
