In the Portraits series, people pose frontally for the camera, in close shots, with wide angle lens, that virtually excludes the surrounding space. The subject’s facial expression and the communication between the photographer and the subject give the viewer the opportunity to study a series of characters that seem to externalise their internal condition in the most direct and unfeigned manner.
